Calling men pretty is like... calling a women handsome. Main Entry: hand·some Pronunciation: 'han(t)-s&m Function: adjective Inflected Form(s): hand·som·er; -est Etymology: Middle English handsom easy to manipulate 1 chiefly dialect : APPROPRIATE, SUITABLE 2 : moderately large : SIZABLE <a painting that commanded a handsome price> 3 : marked by skill or cleverness : ADROIT 4 : marked by graciousness or generosity : LIBERAL <handsome contributions to charity> 5 : having a pleasing and usually impressive or dignified appearance synonym see BEAUTIFULNothing in there about it being male-only. "Beautiful" is even a synonym for it, which IMO has always been used largely for women. Okay, anyway, back on topic. I want this book.

heh...no. Adverbs is the title of Daniel Handler's next book... It's supposed to be a bunch of short stories on different aspects of love, if I'm not direly mistaken. I think there's a thread on it, somewhere.... Edit: asoue.proboards11.com/index.cgi?board=sog&action=display&thread=1066073959There's the thread. It's about 'different people in different types of love, most of them miserable.' I am reminded rather strongly of 69 Love Songs, a three disc CD set by the Magnetic Fields with a strikingly similar theme...squee

I might write in it. But only asoue related things, like Isadora's couplets, THH anagrams, and stuff like that. Though I may end up buying another one to keep it blank.

Hmm, dark is pretty. I think it's the hair.
Oh yes, and the book is nice too.
I suppose they made this like a commercial commonplace book- like after I got addicted to Ghostwriter in the early 90s I bought a million of those 99 cent composition notebooks "casebooks" that the sleuths on that show used, which I'm still using to this day.
