Wait, were you not aware you were a lesbian before? I thought you had said you were before. Of course you will find someone and that person will be very lucky because you are a lovely person

You have to go through it. Grief and be sad and eat icecream and be mad and sooner than later you'll be okay. I love youuuu I'm here if you ever need to talk honestly ya the sugar is helping very much lol thank u endlessly for the support bb <3333

Hey, can anyone with programming knowledge or linguistic coding help me with this:
I wanted to be able to replace words by lexical category of any given text, i.e. replacing f.ex. ALL verbs and ALL adjectives in a text. I thought this would be a straightforward thing and there'd be an online text generator or something, but I'm starting to think this is more complicated than I'd anticipated, as my search has lead me to computer realms I know nothing about, like RegEx or WordNet, and coding communities on StackExchange.

That does sound slightly complicated, but not necessarily impossible. You probably need to break down the task into smaller ones so you can find the right tools and line them up in the correct order, e.g. frst find something that breaks down your text and identifies the categories of each word. The most challenging part is probably getting the replaced words into the correct grammatical form. What you can use also depends where and how you want to use it (e.g. different programming languages, do you need a user interface, etc)

Thanks for the insight, Anka! I'd thought that you're probably the most qualified to help with such an issue.
Actually, I don't even need to replace, say, a verb with another verb, but with a placeholder symbol which needs no modification, like a simple underscore "_", or if it's possible with "(verb)". I'd like to be able to turn any text quickly into a potential Madlibs-game, like: "In his (noun), (pronoun) discovers a small (noun) of a (noun) and keeps it in his (noun)." But I'm also happy if it's just "In his _, _ discovers a small _ of a _ and keeps it in his _."
What tool would you recommend to break down the text to identify the words' lexical categories?
