If you refer to the place Hell it's not considered swearing, but it is if you say "what the..." Exactly.Yes,people should not TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIER OPINIONS or FREEDOM OF SPEECH!Some swear words are tolerable, but words like the f-word,sh-word,d-word (not the synonym for curse),etc.are much too profane and should be censored.

Yes,people should not TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIER OPINIONS or FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Yeah, they should let their freedoms ATROPHY!!!!! That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. I do agree that, in a perfect world, people would have the wisdom to refrain themselves in circumstances where certain words, phrases, or opinions would be inappropriate, unnecessary, hurtful, and/ or tasteless. But this is indeed NOT a perfect world. People are stupid. They will say all the wrong things at all the wrong times. People also, however unfortunately, must have the right to be stupid. If they did not posess this, things would be bad. Real bad. Theoretical freedom is what will happen the second we let our freedoms stagnate.

I agree there should be censerd swearing. But maybe that is just my Christian mouth speaking again. Then again...I don't really think saying what the hell is that bad.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, no, I know major Christian devotees who swear. You safe ;D. I think if you feel the need to swear, eg: I hate potatoes. Thoes damn potatoes killed my grandmother in the potatoe masacre of '67 Damn them. (Lame example, but still.)then swear.
But when you say something like
eg: Why the hell are you acting like that? "Hell" could just as easily be replaced by heck, diddly, or just cut the "the" out and say "Why are you acting like that?"
Just my opinion. Damn potatoes..............

So has it been determined that it's ok to swear? Or no? I've been wondering about this for awhile, I need to know what I can and can't say.
