In one of my old history textbooks there was a huge, A4-sized picture of some Victorian peasant who had his trousers down to his ankles and some newspaper or something covering his backside (his back was to the camera/whatever), and he was sticking his tongue out and looked kind of demonic. It was scary but we always used to find that page and start laughing and show eachother anyway. That's kind of a ridiculous picture, I guess.

This isn't really homework but, we were having a practise test (for some bizarre reason) and there was a booklet entitled 'Fire! Friend or Foe?' and one of the questions about it was 'Why is 'Fire! Friend or Foe?' a good title?' My answer was, It's not. It's an appaling title. Here is a list of better titles - you get the idea

Heh, that reminds me, one of my acquaintances is taking a class at Purdue called "Insects: Friend And Foe." (Not "or," "and." It's in the entymology department or something and counts as a science credit.)

Which makes sense, because you're one/two year(s) younger than me, and practice tests are usually past examination tests. I think that was one of my English Key Stage 3 SATs papers. I hate the Reading ones, because they're always on really boring subjects, such as that one. I always like the Writing ones though, like in the same exam, we had to do a piece of creative writing about this detective-type person and my English teacher told me later that mine was the best in the class (wait, that means she marked it, so it must've been my Mock SATs, not proper SATs). Have you done that one? It was good.

Yay! Mine was the, er, detective's sidekick person I think. He tried blaming it on some other guy. What an idiot.

You win, J. Although I found a pretty scary homework problem today. Here it is:
Santa loses his footing and slides down a frictionless, snowy roof tha tis tilted at an angle of 30°. A. If Santa slides 8.00 m before reaching the edge, what is his speed as he leaves the roof? B. Using the previous answer, find Santa's speed as he hits the ground if the roof is 20 feet above the ground.
