UGH, men. Natasha and I have decided that whoever comes to power first shall keep all men underground and only use them for breeding. Possibly the pretty ones can be used for decoration. Oh dear.

Eh, Locker room talk. The only locker room talk I have heard is about frolicking in the fields. Though it seems they don't care to wait until they are in the locker room to discuss it. Seriously, sitting at a lunch table with all guys, one guy will ask another, "So, what did you do last night?" and the other guy will say, "Oh, watched TV, jacked off about 3 times with a playboy magazine, and played some VGs (video games)" It just is NOT appropriate to talk about this kind of stuff at a lunch table, ESPECIALLY with a female there.
Males being romantic. Thing is, you only read about that in fiction. Its never real. And even and fiction, most are still jerks. Except for a select few.
Anyway gonna stop talking now.

Ugh, locker room talk at school isn't even locker room talk. It's more, "right in front of Ann" talk. I do NOT want to hear about my classmate's wet dreams.

Ugh, God... frolicking in the fields? Usually why I try and avert my attention from what guys are saying (no, contrary to popular belief, I am, in fact, a male posting here).

About the poetry thing-- I can't think of any examples but when I studied victorian/romantic era poetry a lot of the males were extremely romantic but they seemed really jerky. There seemed to be a lot of double standards.. like guys could have wandering eyes, and act like well a "guy". But if a female did any of those things she was labeled a magikarp. It's like the ultimate female is a really hot chick who portrays herself as a nun, and is never (even after a long relationship or marriage) is "dirty". Like she never actually wants sex, she just wants the "man" to make her feel complete. Ugh.... I know so much Carpe Diem, "Sleep with me!" crap. And the women are always very proper and the guys are like "W00hoo! Time for SEX!!!! SEXSEXSEXESEX!!!" Let me clarify that when I said I was a romantic I meant in the sense of romanticizing everything and NOT in the sense of wanting men to sing me sonnets under my window and shower me with roses and swoon and fall into their arms and be "romantic". By "a romantic" I meant something different from "romantic". Bleh. Guys can be really stupid about "locker-room talk"... well... some guys. There was this one guy who was an MC for a pep rally and there was a Jello eating contest and some blonde girl got Jello all over her. He was like, "Woohoo! Casey covered in Jello! Every guy's wet dream!" and some other crap like that. You know... at a pep rally? Blah. Actually, I usually hear guys on the bus in the seat behind me just talking about all this and... guh. One tries to ignore it, but guys can be real idiots in highschool. Band guys and advanced-program guys tend to be a little more sensible... but generally, guys are stupid. Well... I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm not trying to insult the male population of this board, and I hope you don't take offence.

Wow. I don't even have a locker, let alone a locker room, let alone locker room talk! Sometimes US schools terrify me. Here, I guess it is occasionally joked about, but it is definitely not something people would brag about! That is so strange.

UGH, men. Natasha and I have decided that whoever comes to power first shall keep all men underground and only use them for breeding. Possibly the pretty ones can be used for decoration. *Shrugs* I still think it's a good idea. LittleManTyping-Americans are just strange period. Dating...well, I find it essentially pointless when you're in 6th grade or so, and the whole "Boyfriend/girlfriend" thing is just a title, as Zach pointed out. (By the way, Zach, I noticed you used the Ghettogirl interview...do I get any royalties for this? I did do the interviewing.) Around 8th, 9th grade, I suppose it's a little better, because you can actually go places and perhaps carry on a relationship that's at least slightly...I can't think of a word for this. It's 3:45 in the morning, give me a break. Anyway, it's still sort of pointless, but hey, whatever makes you happy... I too have my doubts as to whether myself or my peers have any capacity for true love, but then, I've been called cynical, so I can't really speak. Sex Ed-last year, these two older (fifties, I assume) people came in to talk to us about everything. It wasn't too mortifying, until they actually started talking about their first times. There are some things I could live without ever thinking about. I remember back in 6th grade or so we watched this movie...but it had everything in it, and the entire classroom watched it together. And then later on the nurse came in and talked with all the girls about our periods and the oh so magical path to womanhood we'd all soon be embarking on. And we got some really crappy "goodie" bags. They didn't even give us full sized stuff, which I felt to be a tremendous rip off. On the bright side, they guys went out to play basketball, and as a result, got no "goodies".

I am from the US! I take these remarks on the nature of my country as a personal insult! But then again, I suppose I am rather strange. *strange smile*
