To tell the truth I basically dislike (hate is such a strong word and you are not supposed to hate people) all cheerleaders. They make up most of the preps. The preps think they can walk all over other people's feelings and don't care how the person is feeling, but when their feelings get hurt, they make such a big deal out of the fact that other people could care less.

Tiffany- For the most part, I agree with you, but you have just reminded me of one of my pet peeves. It's when people go walking around stereotyping. You hate all preps? What kind of message is that supposed to send? For the most part, my friends arent, per se, "preps"...but I have a few close friends that are and I am offended that you are being so judgemental.

Cheerleaders are cheerleaders. I don't really care one way or the other.
Of course, when my friend Jessie first made the squad, I got really annoyed with the way she'd burst into cheer in the middle of everything. She was always clapping and junk...it took her a year to quit. So that soured me against cheerleaders a bit.
But as people have said before, if I dislike someone, it's not because they're a cheerleader, it's because they suck.

I guess I should have said "I dislike most cheerleaders" instead. There are some nice preps, but most of the ones at my school aren't.

its not really fair to say that all cheerleaders are bad people.
some are nice but others arent. i can see why some girls dont like them because they are a little jealous.

Hm...we don't get cheerleaders I don't think. But I don't think you can talk about cheerleaders as the same thing. It's like saying all teachers are stupid, all parents are mean. I guess some cheerleaders are nice, some are not. But I don't like the snotty ones that are on all those american programs.

We don't have cheerleading in most of the british schools, we have acrobatics and dance clubs, but not cheerleading. I can't say i dislike cheerleaders because i don't know any.
