Kirk Hinrich... Let's see. He's the starting PG for the Chicago Bulls. He was drafted #7 last year in the draft. Last time I checked, he averaged about 12 points, and almost 7 assists. He's one of the top ranked rookie point guards. Not one of my favorite players, but he's definitely good.

Wow another reason why I totally want to be you.
Tragedy did you look Kirk Hinrich up or did you actually know those facts about him by memory?

XD I was laughing for ages at that...not because it's a strange name, but because the fact was really random with what everyone else was saying. I have no idea who he is, however.

Wow another reason why I totally want to be you. Tragedy did you look Kirk Hinrich up or did you actually know those facts about him by memory? I already knew his facts. After all, he's one of the most watched rookies this season. And I know lots of NBA statistics. It's funny... The day before this guy made the topic about K.H. I was looking at his stats because there was this player from another school I saw that reminded me of him.

Carmelo is probably a better all around player though. He has the highest ppg out of the rookies. About 21, I'm pretty sure.

He was #3. Sorry. Darko Millicic from Serbia was #2. He sucks Darko does not suck. He just doesn't get any playing time. When he does play, he usually does fine.

Hahaha. I see no argument there. 34 games, 4.7 mpg, .21 spg, .4 bpg, 1.3 rpg, .2 apg, and 1.4 ppg. He played. an average of 4.7 mpg. Usually less. Wanna see what happens when you multiply his stats into a full 48 minutes, like what Lebron sometimes gets? 2.11 spg, 4.5 bpg (!), 13.0 rpg (!), 2.1 apg, and 14.5 ppg Almost 5 blocks. 13 rebounds. 2 steals. He is a defensive monster. And 15 points per 48 minutes isn't bad either. THis is not to mention he has to put up with going into a game when the crowd is making him nervous, going "WE WANT DARKO, WE WANT DARKO." Then there's the fact that's he's even younger than Lebron James and Carmelo. He hasn't even turned 19 yet. He's the youngest player in NBA history. Think that might be a factor? What happens when he gets older, and he's experienced? He'll be whooping behind left and right. Maybe you say "He gets no playing time, so he must suck." The reason why he gets no playing time is because of the team he is on. The Detroit Pistons is the second best team in the East (and my favorite team overall). Larry Brown himself said he would not play Darko much this season because they are already a good team, and cannot afford to hinder their success by spending too much time on developing their rookie. So he's developing Darko's talent slowly (5 minutes a game at a time.) Lebron, Carmelo and Kirk Hinrich, on the other hand, landed on terrible teams. Last year, the Bulls, Cavaliers and Nuggets were some of the three worst teams of the last season. They played their rookies this season because they needed to. They needed some extra talent and some extra interest from the fans, because the teams were terrible, and people were starting to lose faith in them. Before you think the stats "speek" for themselves, learn to analyze.

Dup... What sports do you know in which a player can score 15 points in 48 minutes and not be considered a superstar?

You are right about the minutes, but Darko is nothing compared to his teammates. Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Chauney Billups....etc
