[glow=red,2,300]here's my theory on the conclusion of ASoUE::: poe will be bad and be in jail or caught or just banished forever away from the bauds. quags and bauds will live together with Justice Strauss or someone similar to Justice Strauss. Olaf will be dead or in jail. The associates will be w/ Olaf, w/e he is. lol. ;D [/glow]

Personally, I think an orphan dies. That's pretty unfortunate. Violet, Klaus, Sunny, Duncan, Isadora, Quigley, take your pick.

I think that Beatrice is Mrs. Baudelaire, which many of you probably already thought as well. There are references in The Ersatz Elevator which support this theory.

Also, that Lemony Snicket's sister, K, could be Mrs. Baud as well. There are references to her as possibly Mrs. Baud in The Slippery Slope. Well, we've got a mystery on our hands...

Any other ideas, feel free to send me. I'd like to hear the other opinions.

I would most certainly love that as an ending but I'm afraid"that is not how the story goes". Olaf might be taken care of, but Beatrice(Mrs. Baudelaire, survivor of 1st fire) will die in yet another fire and the Quagmires 2 or 3, can't quite tell yet, will die. However the Bauds will probably live in relative peace with Strauss or Uncle Elwyn.

Who is Uncle Elwyn? I can't believe this is starting to turn into yet another Beatrice=Mrs.Baudelaire discussion. Just wait until the next book comes out. There jsut isn't enough evidence. As for the ending, I'm sure LS will surprise us.

Sigh. www.lemonysnicket.com says that Count Olaf is still around without being caught.... I bet you all three of the Quagmires will die and Violet might also die...

Maube LS will change the last bok into A Series of Not So Uortunate Events and write something on the back like: If you're looking for a miserable tale with a happy ending, you have come to the right place.

I'm personally hoping that whoever Beatrice is, she's actually alive and she and Lemony are reunited and kiss hungrily in one of the last scenes, wouldn't that be awesome? Oh, yes, and for VFD to basically be reinacted by the Baudelires and Quagmires (when they're older obviously), and Violet and Quigley's son will grow up to be the president of VFD (if there is such a thing)
