i am sorry to say yes. I still like the series, but i started when i was 11. now im almost 14. Now that im older, it doesnt interest me as much.Im still a bookworm, but im reading more advanced books, like John Grisham. I am also currently reading other adult bibliographys, like "Trump" and i will start one about Warren Buffett pretty soon.

I'm an on and off obsessor. My obsession with them grew and grew to a climax, then I got bored with them again, then last December I got obsessed again, and now I still like them, but I'm beginning to read a lot of other books now.

Around the time of The Slippery Slope I was the sort of Snicket maniac who draws VFD insignias on her ankle and hides her face under a fedora because it's Snickety. By January I didn't care so much anymore. It was indeed a between-book slump. Now that we have the first Grim Grotto information, my enthusiasm has been rekindled and soon will burn like a green VFD mansion set alight by Olaf. See, I'm already using Snicket metaphors. So, my answer is yes, and no. Me too! Me and my friend would do that during class. I am a bit less enthusiastic than I was earlier, and I haven't done that in a long time, but I think my "passion for ASoUE that's slipping" is too a between-book slump.

Cool, we have things in common. Recently I have taken to wearing hair ribbons, which I have done rather a lot. I also do my hair like the white-faced Olaf henchwomen(see Marvelous Marriage portrait). So my enthusiasm is going strong again, and in September look for me wearing a fedora and shying away from camera-like objects.

I accually just got obsessed this year, after I read THH and was going crazy for the TCC, which my parents made me wait for because I asked for it for Christmas, I was very obsessed then. Now I'm not as obsessed, but I'm still obsessed. I am depriveing myself the books for awhile, so that when I reread them for the 5th time I'll have forgotten some of the details and it will be more interesting. Because when I reread them for the 4th time I wasn't as interested. I'm sure that I'll be just as obsessed as ever when TGG comes out.

Ever since the month after TSS came out, other obsessions have begun to take hold of me. For example, since a couple weeks ago, I've been unable to think about anything other than Marilyn Monroe. Weeks before that, I was CRAZY for "Chicago". Before that, it was "Gone with the Wind". I'm still in love with ASoUE, Lemony Snicket, and Count Olaf, just less so. And it's all because of the annual new book release. When TGG comes out, though, I'll go back to the insanely devoted Snicket-head I used to be.
