In the slippery slope on page 336 it says that the STRICKEN SREAM LEADS TO THE LAST SAFE PLACE. (Sorry i was on caps lock) maybe it has something to do with the submarine in tgg?

Apparently, the stream leads to the sea, near Hotel Denouement. I'm not sure whether the Baudelaires will end up near the hotel, but they will end up in a grim grotto and a submarine best described with a synonym for "grim" that begins with S. (I can't think of one right now). The question is whether the grotto is near the hotel.
