i think the youngest that could enjoy them would be 9, and the oldest maybe 20, but you'd never see ages 9-20 on a book.

I'd have to say 9 and up! My sister read them when she was 9 and understood most of it.

it depends on how advanced a child is...mi sis reads them and shes 9, mi cousin is 7 and can read @ that level, but he gets scared but the monkeys in the wizard of oz....
on average id say 8 and up.....i no sum 14 year olds that are into it...so id say 8 to 14

I'm 14 and I'm into it. 8 and up... Adults can be allowed to read them too.
