NO!! They weren't married and Lemony is not a father of any of the bauds <see above post> <sighs with exasperation> Calm down. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean others can't speculate about it more. If they were engaged, and assumed they'd go through with the marriage (before Lemony was framed), it's possible they thought "what the heck" and... yeah.

ugh! I don't think so. We would know by now if this were the case, I mean it's the 10th book! Alright I'll calm down...

I don't agree with the theory, either,but it's possible.Kinda.In a way.To an extent.

I don't really agree with it either, but I'm not saying it's out of the realm of possibility. Either way, it's fun to speculate about what could be.

Whats the farthest back that the boos ever talked about the Baudelaires lives, did it discuss anything in an area of time ven close to their births?

He seems far too correct and gentlemanly to ever have taken advantage of the woman he loved. Agreed. He had a deep, obsessive, rip out your heart love for her. You don't knock a girl up and dump her when you really love her like that. Plus, Lemony is a gentleman through and through. He seems too proper to be doing that outside of marriage with ANYONE, let alone the woman he adored. Even if, as someone else said, they were in love and she was willing, he seems like he'd be well, too old fashioned for that.

I don't think we necessarily KNOW that the fire was in the morning. They could've been at the beach for hours, making it afternoon. Even if it was in the morning one of the baud parents survived the fire, so maybe one of them was Beatrice. In any case I agree with peaches of wrath. They never married, and if Lemony was Violet's actual father she would probably have been the slightest bit familiar with Jacques since the two were brothers. She also would be referred to differently than Lemony refers to the rest of the bauds. And she's 14, dont u think the kind baud parents would have told her something of that importance?

Well on Meridith Replied on the interview with Handler it says : 22.Is there any truth to the general rumor that Beatrice is, in fact, the Baudelaire's mother? some truth but not total truth This confuses me a little, any suggestions on how this relates?

I have that entire interview right here with me on paper, and that is one of the answers that mystifies me. Another mysterious one is where they ask why telephone poles were cut down on RRR in as told in LSUA and who cut them down and his reply was "saying one word, thunderbolt" Well I can't figure out what it means but it means that she could be the baud mom. As for Violet being a step child at 14 her parents would consider her mature enough to know such a thing so I don't believe it.

And, if not too old fashioned, Lemony would be too careful. Surely he would be safe.

If Lemony was her father then surley she would notice that she didn't look anything like Mr.Baudelaire.

Perhaps Beatrice and Lemony were together, running from the law and such, and in VFD. Then, Beatrice found out she was pregnant. She might have not wanted to live life as an outlaw-like person if she had a baby. Therefore, she dumped Lemony, or ran away or something. She then married a man she didn't really love, just so she could settle down. She then had two other kids with this unknown man. But, her heart may still have belonged to Lemony. Awwww <3. Then again, he could have been the one that set fire to the mansion, some kind of jealous revenge thing. They could be step-siblings, but niether Violet nor Lemony know. Hmmm... odd theory. I like it. Imagine it.... Beatrice lays on the floor of the mansion, she is badly burned, but still alive. No one is around to save her... except a cloaked figure that she can just make out... Lemony! He steps closer and looks into Beatrice's eyes. Beatrice looks up at him fully intoxicated by the flames. But she manages to choke out a few words...
Beatrice: Lemony... she's your baby! XD. I like.
