I've vowed that if I ever make it to Japan, I will plunk down the cash and get the name of the city and the year permenantly etched on my body. Tatoos are expensive, painful and so I can't imagine doing it for any reason less than that one. Plus there's always the possibility that my skin would stretch and distort it x.x I'd rather have a small blurry mark than a big one. I am done with piercing. I have 3 rings in each ear which is the maximum I can have before I get into cartilidge piercing. I also have super oily skin so anything else where would get infected fast  |

I had 3 piercings in my left ear and 4 in my right... which was stupid of me cause I only use one on each side now. I had my nipples pierced about 16 months ago, for the simple fact I wanted to see if I could take the pain. Uh, yeah, that was the most painful experiance in my life. I only had them in for about 3 months and then I started to lose all sensation in my nipples,(arughhh!) so I took them out... I have 6 tattoos. My favorite one is a big vine with 4 different flowers on it. It starts on the middle of my left foot and twists around my ankle up my leg, to my knee. Eventually it's going to wind all the way up and stop on my right arm. On my right thigh I have a dragon from my knee to my hip. On the inner thigh is a slightly smaller dragon, looks like they are fighting. I have a fawn sitting in a patch of violets on my shoulder... a baby peregrine falcon on my right upper arm and U.S.ARMY over my left breast. I regret the last one... but not to worry! My vine will cover it up, eventually. When I get back to the states I'll be getting more work on my vine and also getting the Japanese character for "kamikaze" (which means divine wind) somewhere on my arms... but I haven't decided where, yet. Tattoos are addicting. My hairdresser has about 20 tattoos. It's weird. she got a faerie and it's reaolly cool but at first it was a body shape but then different parts kept being added on. How does that work'? Does she have to go back abnd if she does, why can't it be done in one sitting??? |

I'd like to get a tatoo. It's weird, I have such a fear of needles; it's so bad just to think about them gives me the shivers, but to think about a tatoo dosen't freak me out at all. It's not a pain tolenrence thing, it's just the though of something so small and sharp going INTO you. Guh.

anyone that gets a tatoo with a person they love (i.e. g/f, b/f, wife, husband) is just stupid. What if you break up, or divorce, or are mad at the person? You will constanly be reminded of them, by looking at yourself. Thats horrible. If i ever get a persons name, its gonna be my kids names.

That's the point. Person + love = tattoo. Person + tattoo - love = suckage. Wouldn't you hate it if you went through the trouble of getting a tattoo with your girlfriend/boyfriend/whatever's name on it and then you broke up, got divorced, got out of an abusive relationship or what? I sure wouldn't want a remnant of terrible memories on my body, and laser removal is too expensive. |

Look at Angelina Jolie. That Billy Bob tatoo was gone days after they broke up. I know she's a celeb and she can buy that kind of thing, but people can get it removed with lasers.

I would love to get my ears pierced in 4 places.But my parents won't let me. my mom said that i can get my ears peirced a second time over spring break which is now so i guess next time i go to the mall!! but my ears are really small (4 or 5 centimeters) that im wondering if it would just look stupid!! |

the lasers cost more than the tatoo, and hirt even more. My suggestion, is don't get any names. But if you want to, and constantly be reminded of the person, after they had cheated on you, or abused you, go ahead.
