the thing that chaps my butt with these "Rolling Stone/VH1/MTV/Blah Blah Blah names the 100 bestest albums of all time" is the simple fact that you and I have rarely heard many of them, or you have heard a few singles from said albums...
with that said, here are the official Kobolos bestest albums of all time, albums I have enjoyed from start to end and have loved over my life...and...because I say they are.
In no particular order:
Tori Amos- Little Earthquakes Type O Negative- October Rust Concrete Blonde- Bloodletting The Crow- Soundtrack
short and sweet.

Any Nirvana album, I think. Nirvana made history in the punk-rock culture. Or Marilyin Manson, he is crazy! Or maybe Ozzy, I mean, come on, he has his own Ozzfest!

Crispin Glover- The Big Problem does not Equal the Solution, the Solution Equals Let it Be- 1989. That CD, is so strange and fascinating. Each song fits together to form "The big problem", which you are supposed to interperate for yourself. It even had a number you can call to tell them when you think you have the "Big Problem" figured out. A great CD, and though some of the songs seem a little... whacko, they are all genius songs. A+ album.

Well I don't think there is ONE greatest album ever made, for everyone has their own opinions plus there's too many. Though personally, my favourite albums are: *Evanescence - Fallen *No Doubt - The Singles 1992-2003 *Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk *Red Hot Chili Peppers - Greatest Hits *Madonna - The Immaculate Collection And that's about it really. <-- haha never done this one lol

Yes Klaus, I do like the newest Flaming Lips record, but I'm not a big fan of The Flaming Lips' The Soft Bulletin. A lot of people think it's great, but I never got into that one, though I love the Flaming Lips and almost everything they've done. Nevermind is great, but I love In Utero, and Wilco is pretty good, as well. Weezer's Pinkerton is another album I forgot to add, but there are so many I forgot to add. My thread would be insanely long.

It did take me many forced listens to learn to love the Soft Bulletin. Have you heard the new wilco? A Ghost Is Born?
