I like it too. It has a certain *ring* to it. And only the people who've read all the books would get it.

you have to think that the people making the movie want an even wider appeal than the books, so something that you wouldn't understand if you hadn't read all the books probably wouldn't work. so something with mass appeal, like, "The trouble begins," maybe December 17th is coming. Scream and run away. or something along those lines.

I do like "The Trouble Begins" has a nice scary ring to it.. does anyone know when they are supposed to be showing a poster to theaters, or online? I looked on IMDB and there is nothing on there yet.

Lemony Snicket 2004: A Veritable Film Disaster. December 25th.
or simply
"The World Is Quiet Here". I'd love to see a teaser poster with a picture of a huge field (like on pg. 181 of LSUA) and that phrase in tiny print.
Oh! What about "If there's nothing out there, what was that noise?"

The books offer a lot of phrases that would work as a movie tagline, don't they? I like "Scream and run away." "TEXT TEXT TEXT TEXT Lemony Snicket" would be a bold and unusual choice for the title of the movie. *snerk*

How about... "If you like happy movies, then please don't see this!"

i like "the trouble begins" too. its generic, but it kinda hooks u and makes u interested in it.
maybe something like "The fires ignite december 2004"?

I'd like a white poster with in the middle:
The World Is Quiet Here Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events The Trouble Begins

Unfortunately, a slogan wasn't provided for the public.
