Eek. I've just noticed that the link has ceased to work. It was actually a poster that was used in the movie for advertising Al Funcoot's 'The Marvelous Marriage'. I shall now venture off in search of it.

I saw a link to this picture from another web site as well, but when I clicked they seem to have taken down the picture and the accompanying story. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Maybe it was leaked and someone got in trouble for it?

That's interesting. It definitely looks like it was leaked by someone on the set. Why is Marvelous misspelled as Marvelouse, I wonder? And why is it Carriage, with an M added on? Thanks for finding it, swans. I've been dying to see it since this thread started.

Thanks for finding it, swans. I've been dying to see it since this thread started. "Marvelouse" is an antiquated English spelling of the word. As for "Carriage" with an M drawn over the top, my guess is because Olaf has co-opted a play called the "Marvelouse Carriage" and rewritten parts to suit his needs. This behavior was established in the Lemony Snicket Autobiography, and it's nice to see that the filmmakers are drawing upon the entire canon for inspiration.

I noticed something wierd, too. At the bottom, it says something that is blocked by alot of light. It says this is a *cant see the rest because of light* production. I noticed the first word started with a 'V' and the second appeared as a "F" and the third actually looked something like a 'D'. strange coincidence? I think not. Its a foreshoadow, of course! Did anyone else notice it?

Did anyone else notice it? Played with it in Photoshop, cranked the contrast. First word is most definitely "Very", second word is probably "Fine", third word starts with a " D " or an " O " but the rest is obliterated. Superimposing the word "Very" over it, it looks to be about 9 or 10 letters. Guesses? It also says Written by Al Funcoot above it. Well, I can make out "written and "Funcoot", I'm assuming the rest.
