"Most likely. But who's Grey Snicket?" Malise asked. "Oh, and umm..I have something to show you. but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to let you see." She said, balling her left hand into a fist, as if trying to conceal her palm. She quickly hid it behind her back.

"Okay..." Malise took a deep, shaky breath, closed her eyes, and stuck out her left hand. Tattooed on her palm was a navy blue skeleton key, which happened to be an insignia.

"Aww, why didn't you tell me? I coulda kept it a secret" Duncan said, sitting by Malise and wrapping his arm around her to try and console her. "Could you tell us about it now?'

"Ok." She sighed. It felt good to not keep secrets. "I've been a member since age eight, and they grabbed me in the library. They carved this on my hand with a fountain pen while I was looking in the direction of a clapping sound I heard. We try to keep young people from joining up with the wrong side of schisms. In our spare time, we confuse the bad side of a particular schism with red herring codes. Our orginization is called TWH."
