Still wincing, Rebecca Ann crawled over to a tree, hoisted herself up, and began swinging through the branches, her fastest way of transportation.

Willard put a hand on her shoulder. "She's pretty mad right now. She feels you're going to be hurt again, she's mad at you for not coming after her, she's in severe pain, and she feels lonely on top of it all."

"What offer? Ambiguity?" She turned from him to go after Rebecca Ann. "Rebecca Ann! Wait!"

Rebecca Ann swung through the trees. Her mother had always called her the family monkey. She was fairly certain that her leg was broken, though.

Having reached the end of the trees, Rebecca Ann slowly lowered herself down. She picked up a stout tree branch and used it as a crutch to hobble away from everything.

"Stop! Wait!" she called after her, not noticing a branch on the forest floor. She tripped, flying to the ground. "Ooof!"
