Claire was stunned. She had remembered the navy blue key she had found previously, but the intials V.F.D. were inscribed on it. Looking up from Lindow's hand she asked, "What does TWH stand for? And what does this have to do with anything? Do you think they were the ones who attacked Klaus?"

"It stands for The Whammy Hand, and yes, I think it was them." She sobbed even harder.

"The Whammy Hand?" Claire repeated. She immediately thought of a game show she had once seen at a relative's house that was based solely on luck and had an annoying monster mascot. Claire whispered, "What is The Whammy Hand an organization for?"

"We confuse people. We distract villains so the noble people can work. Sometimes we distract them for VFD, sometimes we distract them for us to work. We do things like mess up machinery and invent codes. The whammy hand used to mean you could mess something up just by touching it."

"Oh, I see. When did you join the TWH? Can you tell me anything about the history of the organization?" Claire took out her red commonplace book hoping that some of the information would help her solve her own mystery, the mystery of V.F.D., the mystery of the fires, and the mystery of Duke Dante.

"I joined when I was five, back when I lived with my parents. I'm thirteen now. I have no idea how far it goes back. There are adults in the orginization, but they're elswhere. We can tell other members by clapping at them with our left hand, which is really just tapping your fingers on you palm, and seeing if they respond. The password into submarines and trains and such, or question for joining, is "What is the sound of one hand clapping?", and the answer is "The sound of fingers hitting metal." I'm only telling you all this because I can trust you."

Claire blushed at the compliment. "Thank you," Claire smiled sincerely. "I've been trying to solve some mysteries regarding secret organizations for a long time, and any information would be of help. I'll show you all that is in my commonplace book in exchange for all that you know about these organizations."

"Commonplace," *Do you think you could write this down in Klaus's commonplace book? It might be important to know,* Sunny asked Claire. She pulled it out of Klaus's pocket and handed it to Claire.

(OOC: I've been gone a long time.... I'm confused.......)
Violet opened the trapdoor to find herself in a room with her siblings and Lindow, and also someone whom she had not seen around previously. Her eyes were still adjusting to the bright room, but she could instantly tell that something was wrong.

Klaus looked around, "Where am I?" he asked, staring at the faces before him.
