OOC- Too many people trying to write at once. I can't keep up with all this conversation. Claire quietly ate her dinner as she listened to their conversation. Since she had come in towards the middle, she did not want to be rude and immediately start talking.

Lindow finished her casserole and took a gulp of horseradish. "After you eat the casserole, you're left with a nast,y but not fatal, cough. But that goes away the next morning." She got up. "Goodnight!"

"Lanky! Are you coming or what!?" Carmelita demanded.

OOC- Sorry I didn't see the post lauren, again, too many people posting at the same time! lol. "Oh," Claire was startled by Carmelita's outburst. She replied politely, "Well, I haven't eaten for 48 hours, I would like to eat if you don't mind. I'll be right there in a few, okay?"

Carmelita's face turned a deep scarlet, how dare this orphan tell me to wait a few, oh I'll give her a few she thought but forced herself to smile instead "Fine I'll be waiting for you in there lanky. I have something to tell you anyway." The dormitory was a sorrid sight. The air smelt rather musty and she observed half the wall was missing exposing the dormitory to the cold winter breeze. The beds were of no sleeping condition, some were covered in mold, others were broken and many of them were both. Observing the bed with the least damage hiding in the corner she made her way to it, pushing a suitcase off it which somebody had already put there.

Claire rolled her eyes ( ) after Carmelita had left. " I'm sure I know exactly what she has to tell me. She probably is going to tell me I'm a cakesniffer, whatever that means, and then tell me I can't be her friend anymore," Claire sighed. She had hoped her first impression was wrong, but so many times they are often right.

Lindow yawned as she awoke. The cold morning air blew in from the holes in the walls and whipped around her ankles. She quickly changed from her slip into her ratty grey jumper and brown leather belt. She bolted down the stairs and ran into the dormitory where Klaus was sleeping. "Klaus!" She whispered as she shook him. "Klaus! Do you want to see something spectacular?"

Claire quietly finished her meal, busted the table, and started to head for Carmelita's room. (The term busting by the way is a term which in this instance means "cleaned her plate and glass instead of leaving it on the table." This is not to be confused with the other definition of busting in which "Claire punches a hole into the table" ;D) She approached Carmelita's room and carefully opened the door.

"Uhm...Why not? I'm awake anyway..." Klaus said, wiping the sleep from his eyes.

Sho took him up to her dorm. "Look through this hole. You can see the bog lights. Who knew decay could be so beautiful?" Flickering orbs were brifting the=rough the bog and fading away.

Klaus smiled looking at her. Yeah, who knew "You've got a point Lindow," he said, looking through the hole.

But Carmelita was no where to be seen. Claire hadn't explored the room before, so she decided this would be the best opportunity to do so. She began to open the shutters to let in some light. The crooked shutters were permanently stuck down, but Claire managed to open it enough to allow the lights to make lines across the room. The pattern reminded Claire of a jail cell, and she shivered at the thought that perhaps her sisters were locked up somewhere, unable to come to Quentin's.

The light revealed a bookcase on the left side of the door. It was hidden in the corner and could only be seen if a person actually went all the way inside. She walked over to the rickety bookcase. It had no books, but in its place were milky white cobwebs. Still, the bookcase looked out of place. She carefully started to push aside the cobwebs to see if there was anything hidden underneath.
