Came close. Me and my friend were gonna try meeting him before a reading, or after if we couldn't find him... yes, THAT obsessed. But that reading was cancelled. Darnzit.

I met him twice! TWICE I SAY! Anyway, he came to Vancouver(where I live) and put on this weird show where he denies being Lemony Snicket and says LS has been paralyzed and cannot coe to Canada. He plays the accordian and sings a song about Count Olaf. He's great fun. I got lots of my books signed too. He was really nice and has the same sense of humour as the books which was great.

When was this?! I am outraged that I never heard about this. I live an hour outside Vancouver (I presume you mean the one in Canada?) and cannot believe that I never heard of him coming to town. I must repeat: When was this? Where was this? If you don't reply, I'm going to pester you with PMs, Annie.

NOOOOOO! NOT PM'S! Yes, I live in Canada's Vancouver, and the first time was around...four years ago...and the second was when the seventh book came out. They advertized it at Kids Books. Where do you live?

I live in Ontario. I'd be willing to go an 8 hour drive, if he was making a stop here.
Hmm... they should make a little touring schedule on LS.com!

Lucky! Does anyone know if he might be coming to Oklahoma City?? Arghh! No one ever comes to this boring state......except Cher did twice...... Sign up for the author tracker at the link below. You'll be certain to find out whenever he's making an appearance...eventually. www.lemonysnicket.com/violet/author.cfmAlternately, you can keep an eye on the author events page at Harper Collins' site. Neither Lemony Snicket nor Daniel Handler is in their currently touring authors database. www.harpercollins.com/authorevents.asp
