Well after the applications you could pick one person or you could pick the people you think are most deserving and have a poll. We don't know if theres a poll or not but there could be, its your call.
I think we usually do polls but we might not every time.

I'm going to audition for the real world, so if I was your G-Mod you could see me checking 667 on MTV. ...is that true? Yes.

Don't worry All Due Respect, we'll get it sorted out somehow (meaning you and the rest of 667 togeather). I guess I'll apply, but so many are way more qualified than I am. I'm Dismay. Age 17. Um, been at 667 since 2004? EDIT: I'm a trained leader through Girl Scouts. I also own animals, so I know about patience (when you have to stop a six inch long animal from bleeding every two hours, you learn about patience). I'm fairly just, and try to never take sides in an argument. And people seem to listen to me now. I also was Tragedy's cousin(Despair)'s close friend/girlfriend, and I talked with him about the whole situation just now. He knew about how 667 was supposed to turn out, so maybe my contact with him could help us all out. Oh, adn I don't do too much after school (don't do sports) so I'm on almost every day. And yet I must say that some of the other people are more qualified than I am. My only downsides are that I haven't read The End, The Beatrice Letters, and The Unautherized Autobiography, so I don't look in the book threads to much, but I dwell a lot in Chaotic Creativity and Leering Literature. EDIT again: I've never had any strikes, warnings, bannings, etc. I always try to play by the rules (but not all the tine

OK great now Im confused I thought everyone wanted applications instead of voting? Yeah, and then you take the applications, and put them all up on a list, and let 667 vote for whom they want. Preferrably by having people send you votes via PM, as polls can easily be rigged. I made a huge post about it HERE which you should read. It's the most sensible way of voting that we've got so far,as it combines all the good qualities of the application system with the voting system.

[glow=red,2,300]I don't like polls because they always end up being a popularity contest and may not always pick the person best suited for the job[/glow]

So what should I do? I'd suggest you remove all of the applicants whom you feel are ineligible(who have gotten strikes or simply don't seem competent, for instance) and then do what PJ said-- write down a list and have people PM you their votes. And at some point, we'll need to find a new WWorld mod; I'd suggest using the same applications process for that.

I'm M. and I'm amazing.
I've been on 667 since March of 2004, when I joined in the same vein as J., with a daemon (His Dark Materials.) I left for about a month, then, and came back, and have been here ever since. I know all of the "classic" members, hve at least slight disdain for many people in general, but am nice in spite of all this.
It looks like I don't have many posts. It's becasue someone *coughJcough* deleted my account. I have over 4000, and, although that isn't the highest number here, they're all THOUGHTFUL posts, and not just posts saying "yup" or...in the game threads.
Know what? I don't trust this administration and I don't trust the people you've already put into power, and I don't trust you.
So nevermind the bits of app I have up.
J, you already abuse your power. Yes, I DO notice that my posts magically disappear.
I have an idea! ADR, how about you consult me. I distrust you, yes, but I am definitely an example of popular thought. For instance, randomly appointing people who ask is a BAD idea.

I'm only quoting this in order to get the point across, as ADR seems to systematically be ignoring most of my posts. SO MAKE A LIST AND GET THE POPULACE TO PM YOU THE VOTES. PLEASE. If enough people say they want this, it might also help.

Making a list of all the applicants and having everyone PM you for their votes definitely sounds like a good idea.

I'm Akbar. I've been running The 667er for 57 weeks now, so yzay me. Just thought I'd say that. I'm not applying for the post, though, it's much more fun to magee about everyone in power in the magazine. (: You can magee about everyone without the magazine. So, yes. I wasn't really going to apply for this but why not. Name: Edwin Okli Recent account: edwin Old (Karma beaten) account: 1fanbaudelaire Older (rarely used) account: snicketfile I registered with 1fanbaudelaire (my first active account) on October 1st 2004 with since I have been killed by Karma and aggravated by Akbar. I know that I'm not going to win so and I have French homework to do so I will cut this short. Abilities: I know how to use all of the function properly and appropriately. I have one forum of my own and asked to be a moderator on The Kraze. I have applied for the position of SOTW mod. And most of all I love 667. Edwin Okli
