What's it like knowing that the number of fansites in honor of your series rival those of other famous writers such as J. K. Rowling and J. R. R. Tolkien?

Given the chance to remove treachery from the world, would you take it? Is it necessary for a balance of good and evil in the world?

Don't you think Volunteers Fighting Deleteriousness is a good phrase for VFD? Why or why not?
Most postal laws state that after one has given one's letters to the post office to mail one cannot retrieve them. Do you think this is a fair law? Think before answering.
Taking jet lag into account, how long would you wait to call someone who had just gotten back from another continent? If you had just gotten back from another continent yourself and were expecting a phone call, what would be the appropriate amount of time to wait before you could assume the phone call wasn't coming? Assume that you kept the line available as much as possible by keeping all other phone calls short.
VFDJ42 [9:57 P.M.]: 1. In order to sell, a work of literature now has to be condensed into a few pithy paragraphs on the front flap. Does this seem right to you? Why or why not? 2. Really, the only way to tell if a book is any good is to purchase it yourself, take it home, and read it all the way through. Don't you think? Why or why not? 3. If a boy is messing with your head, is it O.K. to pummel his head? Why or why not? VFDJ42 [9:59 P.M.]: Oh, and What is the best experience you had at a high school dance? Ambition113 [9:59 P.M.]: is that it? 5 of them? VFDJ42 [9:59 P.M.]: No, there are a lot more Ambition113 [10:00 P.M.]: okay pick the best one Ambition113 [10:00 P.M.]: seriously the ebst VFDJ42 [10:00 P.M.]: Well, I think we should ask him "What is the best experience you had at a high school dance", anyway, but as a The Basic Eight in-joke, we should ask him "If a boy is messing with your head, is it O.K. to pummel his head? Why or why not?"

By now, you must have noticed the striking similarities between the Baudelaires' imprisonment in the Village of Fowl Devotees and Paris Hilton's current predicament. For example, the Baudelaires and Paris Hilton are both heirs to enormous fortunes and have ties to internationally recognized hotels. What are your feelings on Paris's dilemma, and would you suggest the use of a pitcher of water, a loaf of bread and a wooden bench?

What are your feelings on Paris's dilemma, and would you prescribe the use of water, bread and a wooden bench? I am absolutely shocked. That is pure brilliance. I didn't think it was possible to use "Paris Hilton" and "Baudelaire Orphans" in the same sentence to construct a viable question. We need more questions like that... It's definitely going to be sent.

You provided the voice of William McKinley for Sarah Vowell's Assassination Vacation. Who do you think is a better influence to women: Sarah Vowell or Anna Nicole Smith? How ridiculous was that question, and how sad of a reflection is it on today's society that most people would know the latter, rather than the former? Would you have prefered to play McKinley, Lincoln, Garfield or Charles Guiteau? Does McKinley now have a special place in your heart?
