Holy cow, how do you manage to end up with over 900 books in your lifetime? You'd have to buy 50 books a year (if you started reading when you were five) and never lose any to accumulate that many.

I buy between 5 and 20 books in a given month. Since I was deployed out here (sept) I've bought 83 and read well over 100. I'm cheap but I know how to get really good prices on books... flea markets and garage sales are awesome for that sort of thing.

Mostly crappy books I don't read anymore. Of the things I actually do read, I have all of the Harry Potter books, ASOUE books, Chronicles of Narnia, and Goosebumps. Well, I no longer read the Goosebumps, but I keep them there anyway.

LOTR, Harry Potter series, and ASOUE in seperate cases on the same shelf. I believe in giving good books great royalty....
Then I have a lot of Goosebumps books, which I really haven't read... There are many of my books that I haven't read.... Hum....
Anyway, I have Swiss Family Robinson, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and many of the Black Stallion books. I took free books from my old library.
I have a lot more, but I'm too lazy to go up and check. I have four shelves full of books, one big set of books on the back and more in front of them.
