Right now I'm reading 'There's a boy in the girl's bathroom' by Louis Sachar (again, I just love that book) and as for future reads, I have no idea. Whatever reaches out to me in a bookstore, I guess.

I read TABITGB in like 3rd or 4th grade, I think. I vaguely remember it...Oh yes, Sacher was big in my elementary school...TABITGB, the Wayside School and Holes. Yes, Holes--I was introduced to it in the 4th grade, read it there--the teacher made us, read it in my advanced program--teacher made us, I wrote a 5 page report on it, read it in 5th grade--teacher made us, read it in 6th--teacher made us, then I read it about 15 times by my own free will, and I saw the movie 5 times. Captiosus: Are you finished talking off topic? J: Yes.

Right now: Lord of the Rings (Tolkien) In line: Many Waters (L'Engle) Poems and Stories (Tolkien) Timeline (Crichton) Trigun #2 Vampire Game #4
Hoot is by Carl Hiaasen (unless you are referring to the picture book, in which case it's by Jane Hissey) (no, I did not know that off the top of my head, I looked it up on my library's catalog).

Princess Bride is a good book, if you get the William Goldman version. Otherwise, it's the long version with too many descriptions which is actually a commentary on society or something like that.
Carl Hiaasen wrote... basket case, double whammy, hoot, lucky you, naked came the manatee, native tongue, sick puppy, skin tight, stormy weather, strip tease, team rodent, tourist season. Plus some others I didn't feel like typing.
