Yeah, in my primary school there was this girl called Charlene and when I was in year 6 she was in year 3, and once she went up to one of the dinner ladies and said, "Haha, guess what! Last night I saw my parents having sex." I bet she didn't even know the meaning of the word, but her idiot parents probably used it alot at home so thats how she got it. Honestly! When I was in year 3 I worried about whether Saskia would bring me this marshmallow-like rubber set, also I worried what I would get graded on my Greek leaflet thing we had to do. Oh, and whether we were on the fields that lunch so I could carry on my big daisy chain with Zara. Not about SEX!!! Ugh, I am getting sick of that word lol

Why do you guys think it is unnatural/wrong for children say aged 11 to 14 to want or have sex? Because kids should be thinking of their youth, not sex. They have all their adulthood to think about that. It upsets me to think of children getting pragnant at young ages and wasting their teen years looking after a baby.

Aimee (Pucca) is completely right, in my opinion. Why worry about sex now when you can do anything, be anything, and have fun in different ways?

I don't think it's wrong to 'want' to have sex, and it's not wrong to actually have sex. No matter if you're 10, 13, or any age. As long as you have little common sense and decide that you want to do is. I can't force any teenager, and not even their parents, to not have sex. But, if this person where a friend of mine or a relative all I could do is advise them to take care of themselves. I have a cousin who got pregnant at 17, she had to drop out from High School and get married and raise her baby and get a job because her dim-witted husband doesn't earn enough money to keep his family alive.

So, in your ideas its just perfectly natural for a 14 year old to mess up their whole teenage lives looking after babies and breast-feeding and getting alsorts of bodily damages?
I really didn't want to bring this in, but I guess I'm gonna have to. OK, here's the example. My grandma had her first son at the age of 14, and my mum at 15, and you should see her now -- shes only 63 -- she looks like a 100 year old. Its all because she had sex early and damaged her body forever; she gets so many bone and skin problems, all because of her youth.
I really don't wanna sound persistent, but it really is annoying me how you's are sticking up for the matter. I mean, AmbidextrousKevin was right, he said that its OK for children to be curious about it, but not actually do it. Why can't you's see sense?

I just think that sex at an early age isn't a good idea because one, if it's too early you can be easily taken advantage of; two, if you're not educated you won't know the great value of safe sex/abstinence ('cause condoms can break and whatnot); three, having bebbehs too young would put you in a world of hurt, and babies are just parasitic little brats anyway; four, it's against the law, but that's circular logic I'm using right there.
At "an early age" for me means stuff around 12-14ish. Not that I necessarily condone having sex at fifteen or sixteen, but at least by then you should be less boneheaded and know that Gosh Gee Willikers, STDs Are Bad For Me! and whatnot. And act responsibly.

It really is terrible what's going on. If parents would start taking better care of their kids then they could stop a lot of this. A girl at my cousin's school had sex and now shes pregnant. The really sad part is that she's only 12. The town I live in has one of the highest rating teen pregnancy rates. You would think these people would have heard of condoms. It's probably really hard to carry on school and try to raise a baby at the same time. That is sad. A girl im my religion class was telling us about a girl from her town. she was 11 when she was raped and got pregnant. The weird part? her mom was so happy for her. Like you know how alot of parents will be disappointed if their kid got pregnant at a young age. The mother was all "oh congragulations!" and all that.

OK, I looked at most of these posts and have to say I agree with MOST of you. However, there's a couple of you whom I couldn't agree with in a billion years.
In my opinion, kids+sex=bad. If kids 10, 11, 12, etc. Were to have sex, that'd would totally ruin the rest if their teen years, when teen years are supposed to be the most enjoyable times of a person's life.
If a teen got pregnant in her teens, she'd have to worry about a baby, when she's not even a responsible age yet. And why would ANY KID want to look after a baby of their own, when they could be out playing or hanging out with friends?
And I personally can't believe you, swans, that you think kids at the age of 10 it is perfectly normal to have sex. It's NOT. How many people do you see at the age of 10 walking around with a baby of their own? And do you really think 10 is even a responsible age to have a baby to look after? I don't even think 16 is a responsible age, yet you see 16 year old all the time these days, sadly.
And I agree with Aimz. Children need to be concontrating on their youth, and thei rfriends, and all the other stuff that even HALF WAY matters to a kid. Do you really thinkk they're anxious to go get banged so they can actually have a baby?

Thank you! *spends whole LIFE making a shrine for Jirachi* I could not agree with you more. Thanks for a) Reading my mind and b) Summing up in a long, but careful post what I have been going on about for ages. Why can't children just ENJOY being children? God, they can't go round making mudpies, wear flower-pinned dungarees, eat cookies and spread the choc all over their faces and be kids when they are about 30 or 40! So... *gets a loudspeaker, and calls all pregnant-wannabe kids out there* enjoy being a baby and not looking after one!!Hey, that's quite a good quote actually... *sighs* I am so clever, lol...joke, I ain't vein heh
