I think they look sort of tree-ee maybe they are driads (sorry about spelling). The tree spirts from greek mythology. It is a cool style.

Yes, Sam. They are sad. Sadly. I was actually going for the slightly creepy effect... THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! ;D Since you all liked them, I've been wanting to sketch some more... and these are the best two... With their tree forms that they can turn into... (Allison... would Juliet's shirt fit you? It might be a little too narrow... ) home.villagephotos.com/2003-8/18649/LeonardoTree.gif[/img]

Aw, those are so cute. ;D Juliet and Leo are so awesome. And Sandy, too, of course. (I'll make it fit. Somehow.)

They rock! Is that math beside the first drawing of Juliet? I love the really long-treeish style. Tres purdy.

THREAD REVIVAL!
Yay...
Mmkay, since I'm experiencing quite a bit of writer's block with E-Friends, I thought I'd post some songs of mine to comment on until I can think of some more E-F ideas...
(Constructive criticism is great ;D)

SAHARA MERMAIDS (All of Africa)
Last night I had a vision… I don’t know where it bred… But when I saw it clearly… It wouldn’t leave my head…
If all of Africa Would sink into the sea And all the hungry children Would always have enough to eat… And the women with their grindstones Would sing an ancient song And the men with spears and hunting horns Would stop, and sing along…
The spires of the pyramids Barely touch the air Though the water’s cool and crystal You can’t see them living there… Feet and backs are bare Seashells in their hair
And all of Africa Would sink into the sea And all the hungry children Would always have enough to eat And the women with their grindstones Would sing an ancient song And the men with spears and hunting horns Would stop, and sing along…
The sun is sifting through The smoked-up atmosphere With their domestic magic They can build a fire here Where the desert sands are clammy And the grasslands sway in the waves Learning never to count the centuries They only count the days Sahara Mermaids… Sahara Mermaids…

FREEVERSE SONG
This is my freeverse song it has no rhyme or reason or meter there to speak of, there’s no tune in my head I only write these words with the hope that it will someday grow into a song tree with all my inspiration there I wait in silence while the universe surrounds me a hum of voices enveloped in a strain of Om I’m looking deep inside me to try to find a story, a story that is worthy of being placed upon this paper where all my dreams are shared and torn apart when I can’t take it anymore this is my freeverse song it’s a keyhole to my thoughts but if you want to find the door I suggest you listen closer and read between the lines I want to see how far you go and maybe I can meet you there beneath my song tree here in my freeverse song.

EVER SINCE I WAS BROKEN
Hold out your hand, touching the roses Watching the petals turn brown and fall Although it’s dead and we both think it’s over It can’t be the end, because that can’t just be all…
I want to say something to make you emotional I just want to watch you smile or scream I wish that the pieces could glue back together No matter how utterly hopeless it seems…
Ever since I was broken…
I hate you and I wish I never met you I hate you, pretend I don’t know you anymore I hate you and I want to see you cry. For me. If you still believe I’m worth crying for.
Hold in your breath, you might save the roses But the ceiling of glass will shatter and break And maybe it’s best if we just walk away And never look back, for both of our sakes
I want to say something to make you apologize I want you to wish you could heal all the scars The pieces will never glue back together It’s amazing how utterly hopeless we are…
Ever since I was broken…
I hate you and I wish I never met you I hate you, pretend I don’t want you anymore I hate you and I want to see you cry. For me. If you still believe I’m worth crying for.
Before you walk away I want to make you see Ever since I was broken You’re dead to me… You’re dead to me… You’re dead to me. ***

Wow. I love your stuff. Did you write music for the two non-freeverse songs? That would be so cool. IT would just make the whole mood 10x more.
I like the freeverse one the best. I can picture it just sort of rolling along like a coffee-shop conversation with oneself. It just reminds me of free-flowing thought, and I think that goes well with the whole idea of the song. I can see it being maybe kind of lazily free-style jazzy, but that's just me.
I wish I could write songs. It takes more talent and inspiration than you'd think... so many songs sounds stupid and melodramatic, and it's HARD to get genuinely good songs. But these are definitely good.
As far as constructive criticism, I think the "utterly" in one of the earlier verses of that last song didn't seem to flow as well as the rest of the verse, but I don't have it in front of me, and I don't know the tune, so it's probably not actually a problem.

Thank you! ;D I'm so glad you like them! Reciting the freeverse song gives me a headache sometimes... and I hadn't thought about what type of music to add to it 'till now... jazz would work very well, I think... thanks for the idea! Yep, the other two have music, I can sing them to a tune. I haven't figured out how to play accompaniment on my guitar yet, sadly... "Utterly" sounds slightly strange, I s'pose... (ends up sounding like 'udderly' ) but I don't think anything else would really work there... Thanks for the comment! ^____^

MR. WEEKS
Once upon a time, there was a Mon. He always counted in Tues. Though he was handsome, he never Wed. He wasn’t jealous of married men, his life was better than Thurs. Some days he would cook some stir Fri. Out on the lawn he Sat. And stayed all day to sell his scrumptious wares beneath the Sun.
