I love it! The blue shading is great, you used 2 shades of blue, right? or more?
I really really really like the eyes. They do look so real, and... I can't quite tell the expression... patience maybe, I'm not sure.
The only flaw I see is probably that the nose seems to fade away and disappears.

Ginny: Thanks! I'll try to post something tomorrow depending on if I get around to finally finishing and shooting that painting!
Dark: Thank you! I used a bunch of different shades... there are two dark blues, a purple and a light blue, but I have cool blendy pencils, so it might be hard to tell. Then again, maybe not?
Also, I get what you're saying about the nose. I didn't really want to draw it, so I tried to sort of just... make it go away or something. Yeah... pretend it worked. *shrug*

Neggie, it's lovely! It seems kinda otherworldly, maybe because it doesn't have large eyebrows or eyelashes, but I loff it that way. The color is gorgeous, I could stare into the eyes forever!
@_@ *staring face*

Thank you! It was actually inspired by all the "blue eyes" things in MF songs. Geeky, I know, but whatever works. I had the idea of having not only blue eyes, but just the whole thing being blue.
Also, I thought about eyelashes/eyebrows, but decided against it, because it would be too hard and too dumb-looking a detail to do...
Also, points to anyone who can name 3 lines from MF songs with blue eyes references in them...

"I look into your eyes of blue, but their beauty is not for me..." -The One You Really Love
"Blue eyes blazing, and he's going to be my wife..." -When My Boy Walks Down the Street
"I live on the blue planet that I saw in your eyes..." - My Sentimental Melody
... okay, the last one was a stretch... do I still get points? ;D

Yes! Those weren't even the ones I was thinking of, but YES! You win!
These were some I was thinking of, and then the One You Really Love:
"Maybe it's you... you know your eyes are awful blue..." - The Sun Goes Down and the World Goes Dancing
"I had a dream and you were in it.... the blue in your eyes was infinite" -I Don't Believe You

A while ago, Bored sent me a suggestion for something, which is actually what the painting's of... anyway, the quote was: "In a world where horror regins and being has no place" So she suggested something like the lamppost, but more finished. I don't know if this counts, but to be fair, it's sort of a background study. First thing I've done for real in my pretty prismacolour pens, of which I had 4 at the time, so it's very blue... Not that I mind. Maybe this is my blue period. Comment0s? The breakfast cereal artists love to snack on?

OMG! They're soooooooooooooo good! I love the painting with the surreal buildings in it, and the *blue eyes* too, they're really life like.

Wow, I like these both a lot! I like the blues you chose to use. The eyes look very realistic. About the only thing you could fix up just a bit is maybe add eyelashes.
My favourite is the other one, with the buildings. I like how curvy it is and basically have no criticism to give you on it. It's very spunky.

Thanks so much! Like I said before, I wasn't sure it adding eyelashes would take away from it, so I didn't add them. And I'm glad you like the second one!
