Good bye. Thanks guys. I'm surprised I got this far. It was just to prove to myself that my poetry wasn't that bad and pretty much to rub in my English teacher's face. He falied me for my poetry component. Thanks again and Good Luck to the remaining contestants.

You did really well. I particularly liked your Masque poem. Well done, and farewell...here is my love poem to Amber...
Anwen
Across a virtual remove She dwells and types; let my words then On message boards declare my love Where former poets used a pen.
My lady tells of ginger cats And of pure white magnesium fire Of dull and never-ending SATS And e’er of unfulfilled desire.
And for my part, I talk of heat Of tailcoats and tests and trains I ninjafy her-quite some feat And banter over when it rains.
I praise her shower of peerless hair Her eyes, reflecting Luna’s rays Yet my own face I do not dare To procure, scan, for Anwen’s gaze.
Tis Sloth! O Sloth! Thou bindst my hands And manacle my leaden feet. And so my vocab must suffice- I’m tall and dark, a bit effete.
I’ll tarry still beside this screen And wait to somewhat closer lean.

Here's mine. I hope to win the judges favour. But meh. And I'm aware the random w00t was cheap. It's the same old thing:
Bsam
BSam, the friendly rogue of our 667, Claims to be 21 but is actually 11. He loves all alcohol, especially beer, He charms his fangirls with his friendly leer. He’s malevolent and scheming, but fun to be around, Even if his logic and spelling aren't quite sound. He’s surprisingly literate, and smart to boot, And he’d better vote for my poem, random w00t! He lives here in Australia, that continent down below, And dismisses all accusations and insults with a simple “So?” He’s got quite a few strikes, and Trag ought to ban, But no one can resist this excellent funny man! He’s a legend in many a story, And loves the publicity and glory. So next time you’re in the pub drinking beer, Raise your glass to BSam, and give a loud cheer. -PJ

Amber (Don't ask me why I wrote this, and dedicated it to you, Amber, but it seems you're the only other girl in this comp.)
Droplets of glistening revenge, Trickle rivulets over her face. A soft hiccup escapes her mouth, Smudged lip-stick over her ivory chin. His mark left stinging on her face, In the shape of a cowardly man.
She's built her own refuge, A place where people are who they want to be. She can unfold her crumpled wings, And spead thick, The jam she was deprived of.
Now that he's gone, Now that the penetrating lights have faded, Her wounds can heal. The wounds that have been Split open over, And over, And over. Puss ozzing from them, They heal with no scars pursuing them.
She can breate sweet-smelling air, And live the life she wanted to. His shadowy cast not, On her life any longer.

Ennui
Have you ever had that feeling? Where things sound so right in your head, But just looks wrong on paper? Anything I want to say of you, I just can’t make it fit. As to me you are perfect, In my eyes you can do no wrong. Unwise? Probably as we all have faults. But true perfection has to be imperfect, I know it sounds foolish but it’s true. Anything you write is flawless, Though my printer may not love it like I do. I need to get you a golden pen, To match your golden works. Only miles betweens us, Though it feels forever. I’d walk to the end of the earth for you. On a message board talk shall suffice, But to meet you would be more than nice.
Though I must admit, two of the lines aren't my own. *hides*

Nice poem, Amber. It drew me, and saddened me ('Only miles betweens us/Though it feels forever.') Intruiging and mystifing. Good luck everyone.

The results are now in, and two housemates will have a confirmed place in the next round: Round Six. As for the other three, their fate is in the hands of their judges, and their fellow contestants.
The first housemates through to round six is...
ENNUI And the final contestant who is confirmed to join Ennui is....
AMBER.
This leaves Phoenix, PJ and Jack-Jack to face the wrath of the contestant vote, and judges vote. Contestants, vote now. I am away for three days, so on Sunday, the results of the contestant vote will be in.
