Do, you feel safety is better then more freedom? 'Cause I believe we need to be safe, rather then having freedom to look up porn without someone knowing (just an example) America, land of the free. That's us. We fiht for our rights and freedom. And, our plans to preserve our freedom, we're taking away freedom. Does that make sense? Porn. Bad example. Honestly. Tryh again.

What I meant, was that, its better to be safe then having a repeat of 9/11. Its a new age, which calls for better safety, and I'm all for it.

A There are other waysd to prevent terrorist attacks rather than invade people's privacy. WTF does pr0n have to do with terrorism? B-A-D example. Awfgul example. That example brings shame and dishonor to your family. C: Digression.

Seuss, why are you talking in italics all of a sudden? No. It's evil because under the patriot act someone can be held in custody for an undeterminable amount of time without being told what they have done wrong, and without being able to contact family or lawyers. It's because theres suspicion they might be a terrorist. They don't even have to have proof. Theres also some things that take away freedom of speech and assembly when dealing with Bush and where he's speaking but the big problem I have with it is the keeping people prisoner. I agree with you, Pannie. On the news a while ago, I heard about a boy whose family was monitored by the FBI, because he had drawn a political cartoon that caricatured Bush, for his school newspaper. There are probably other examples of events like this, and I fear that they may become more frequent. This is a little like the "Red Scare" of the 1960's--an irrational fear of communists that got many innocent people in trouble. Do, you feel safety is better then more freedom? 'Cause I believe we need to be safe, rather then having freedom to look up porn without someone knowing (just an example) You don't want freedom? I know I'm reiterating what Fire said, but I was thinking the same thing.

What's the point in being alive if you don't have freedoms to enjoy? The Patriot Act is the most unconstitutional thing, ever, and George Bush should be impeached...

I thought it came out that Bush does, indeed, own a lumber mill.
