ok...this happens right? a female commenting on a female... aww, Spiffy, you look cute  no reaction... however...this happens not too much later...a male commenting on a male... i must admit he is kinda cute...sort of... and it get's replied to with this i thought you were straight!! i sense a small double standard here...what's going on eh? |

thats because guys don't say cute unless they mean "hott" or "sexy" or "i want you"!! in my world at least. don't you often ask me if i think your dogs are cute? although i often say no cuz i don't like animals... but still... wow...what a sexy dog... umm...NO... |

I'm with swans, here. Double standards BITE. I mean... people should accept guys wearing skirts... after all, they accept girls wearing pants.  Okay, I don't know if that's the best example... Better examples: beating (it's okay for a girl to hit a guy but not vice versa?), sensitivity (for girls to cry/be very emotional is okay, but it's less acceptable for guys). Anyway, a lot of this seems to be stuff Timar's saying... eheh... And Roboob. We need to compile a list. |
