Originally, I was from the Civfanatics forums ( forums.civfanatics.com/index.php) but unfortunately, I forgot my password & I can no longer contact my buddies there. We had a little game in Civfanatics & this is how it goes: 1) A asks a question, the rest will try to answer. 2) A must confirm which answer is correct. 3) Person (say B) with confirmed correct answer then asks the next question. 4) A cannot play again until B's turn is over . 5) Repeat. 6) If person asking question doesn't login to confirm answers within 2 days of his question being posted, any one can ask a new question. 7) If no one can answer question within 2 days or can't get the right one, questioner can ask again. 8) If answer has been confirmed and the new questioner hasn't set a question in 2 days, anyone can ask the new question. In the original game, you can't research on books & the Internet. In this game, you CAN. Just cite your sourcs. And you can also be creative on what kind of question you want to ask (i.e. True or False). You can ask about anything that comes into your mind, from this forum to current events to science but you CAN'T ask ASoUE questions. We already have an ASoUE quiz in the forum. Let's start the quiz!!!! I'll go first. When was the first emoticon invented?

Ok. 2 days are over. My turn!
REDUCED VERSION!!!! Ok. I'm going to say a "reduced" version of a very popular piece of literature that's 3 sentences long & you are going to identify what's the name of the work.
There once was an orphan who went to a very cruel school. He ran away & joined a group of young deliquents who had nothing to do but steal & drink strong alcohol. He then lived happily ever after when he was adopted by a nice, middle-classed citizen, but still mourns the death of the leader of the group he joined in before he was adopted.

Please reread the rules of this game before posting in it. Fireburst asked the question so he needs to confirm the answer, not you.
