I'm sorry for reacting the way I did. It's actually just very rare for me when people say they don't like the Beatles.

I don't exactly hate The Beatles, but they're just not my personal cup of tea. For those of you Beatles fans out there - are you okay with people saying that they respect, but not really enjoy, The Beatles? Do you distinguish between a "good" non-Beatles fan ("they're not my cup of tea") and a "bad" non-Beatles fan ("they suck")?

I just don't like them. I don't like their songs. It's one thing to not like them, but to call them your least favorite ever? Surely, Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black are lower on your list of favorites?

OK, maybe Queen is lower I actually quite like Rebecca Black. I've never listened to Justin Bieber, so I can't comment.

You hate Queen too? Now, I think you're trying to break my heart.

Whoa, now that is something rare. I don't think I've ever met anyone who disliked Queen.

Freddie Mercury's voice is incredibly grating to me.

Lady Gaga based some of her music off of Freddie Mercury.

Yes, I believe that's where she got her name.

Last night at a queer revue, it occurred to me that David Bowie's Lady Stardust, even though it isn't usually counted among his more famous hits like "Heroes" and "Space Oddity", will always have a special place in the hearts of a lot of people. Plus, the piano is amazing.

I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers. I know in HIMYM as they listen to it on repeat they go back and forth between loving it and hating it, but when I've tried it out I haven't reached the point where I get sick of the song.
Also: Louder by SPEAK Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie 99 Luftballons (My brother and his best friend had this song looping for hours one evening.)
