I don't like to drink white milk, but I do like chocolate milk.
Bonus question: Were you ever forced to drink milk? Would/do you force your own children to drink it?

I like white milk, I drink it everyday before I go to sleep, but I prefer chocolate.

I hate milk, period.
My aunt and uncle actually once tried to force me to drink chocolate milk when I was a kid. I was adamant about not drinking it and I was actually sent to my room for it.

I love milk. I drink a glass of whole milk every day as part of my dinner, the protein, fat and calcium are a big help to me, since I'm on a medicine which reduces my appetite to nil and makes eating more than tiny portions difficult for me. My significant other loves chocolate milk, she buys huge quantities of it at the store, but I'm indifferent to it. If I'm going to be drinking something that sweet, I would rather it be a special treat or dessert, like a milkshake, rather than having it be part of my meal. As for whether or not I would force my (theoretical future unlikely) children to drink it, I would only compel them to drink milk if I was concerned they weren't getting calcium from another source, like leafy green vegetables or a different dairy product like cheese, since calcium intake before the age of 10 is extremely critical for lifelong bone and dental health. I bet most children would rather get their calcium from milk than from spinach or seaweed.

Since I'm a singer and dairy makes my throat all mucus-y, I hardly consume dairy. Yeah, it sounds ironic, since I'm from the true dairy state (Wisconsin, NOT California).
If I do drink milk, it has to be skim (chocolate or plain) and chilled cold enough that it's almost freezing, but with no frozen milk chunks in it. I will drink soy or rice milk if we have it in the house.
I do like hard cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and yogurt, but I eat those in moderation.

I generally drink a gallon in about 10 days; about half goes in cereal in the morning, and then sometimes I'll drink a big glass as a snack or with a meal. I like chocolate milk, but not too chocolatey and don't drink it all that often.
When I was little, we had milk at every meal. My mom was a big believer in getting 3 glasses of milk a day, since it's so important in bone development, especially for girls. No one in my family ever disliked milk; I suspect because we drank it from an early age. I do dislike any milk creamier than 1%, at least when drinking straight, though; I'll use the creamier stuff when cooking or making a dessert, but when I want a refeshing beverage only 1% or skim will do.
For those of you that aren't planning on making future children drink milk, remember that they will need 1000 mg of calcium daily until about age 10, and then it's recommended that preteen and teenage girls get 1300 mg daily, to prevent osteoporosis when they get older.

I don't drink plain milk. I used to when I was a kid but then I got sick of it and I just can't bring myself to do it anymore. I'll have cereal with milk, though, and sometimes I'll have a little cup of chocolate milk or hot cocoa. I try not to overdo it on the dairy, though. A lot of the time I like to make my own nut milks -- brazil nut and macadamia are my favorites. They're great in smoothies.

i strongly dislike drinking milk by itself (plain or flavored). my parents made me drink two glasses a day until i graduated high school / moved out to go to college though. shudder. i'm also mostly vegan now, so.
almond milk and rice milk are delicious though, i find. soymilk is ok too. probably other nut milks are awesome as well but i haven't tried them.
idk if i had a kid i might raise it vegan. i mean obvz i'd make sure they were getting their necessary nutrients from somewhere though.
i mean for real though i am so not having kids...definitely not in the next decade, probably ever.

I should also bring up that milk isn't as good for you as the world wants you to believe. If there's no vitamin D in the milk, then it's actually not good for you at all.

Milk is my next favorite drink, after mineral water. I love the fullcream one I always thought that milk is contain a lot of vitamin D and calsium, so i always drink it as much as i could. But i can't see the significant effect on my small and, sadly, short body. I never get taller!*sob

I love milk. 1% is my favorite. I also like chocolate milk. And milkshakes, and ice cream, and cheese, and most dairy products... ^^
Edit- If my kids (if I had any) didn't like milk, I wouldn't force them to drink it. I would just find another way for them to get their calcium--they might like cheese or yogurt.

I'd never drink milk on it's own, but I like it in tea and coffee. I'm not adverse to dairy foods, I love yogurt, cheese etc, I just wouldn't have milk on it's own.
