To a certain extent, Willow Smith strikes me as the Pixar of child stars. She doesn't need to slip double entrendres into her lyrics that adults will get but that will pass over her core audience's heads, a la Dreamworks. She doesn't have to be an aspirational figure, a Disney princess little girls can look up to for the future.

I feel bad that so many people feel the need to pass judgement on her and/or spew hate at her, just because she wrote and sang a heartfelt song about being herself. It really sickens me to think of how many backwards folks we still have in the western society.

I'm not sure what you are talking about, I only know "Whip My Hair" by her.

I know Willow Smith by her part as Rue in the Hunger Games. I didn't know she was a singer, too.

Hahaha, Kensicle. That the kind of comment that leads to comments like Bryan's. Don't worry, though, it was just a little mistake.

Remember when people were outraged that Rue was black? Yeah haha. It even said she was black on the book though and people didn't care then. haha they all look the same It doesn't have anything to do with black people, but apparently most Asian people think all white people look the same.

It doesn't have anything to do with black people, but apparently most Asian people think all white people look the same. Nah, it's the other way round. There are four teachers I have who consistently mess up the Asians. And two of them have been with us for two years.
