There was a famous painter named Rene Magrite (i spelled his name wrong) who use to paint guys in top hats who were turned around not facing you. sound familiar? maybe it's another of dh's jokes and hidden clues.

VFD You have your Renaissance artists mixed up! That was Leonardo DaVinci! He didn't write backwords to hide criminal records either. He wrote backwords either to keep his inventions and ideas secret or because he was left handed and would smear his ink if he wrote left to write. He made friends with old people so when they died the family would allow him the body to research. he was very interested in anatomy and although disection was considered a radical idea, was not illegal. I just finished a study on DaVinci.

*Puts on Hermioneish face* Don't you people read? ;D I love The Renaissance period! Michaelangelo is great too. The Sistine chapel seems amazing, but I've never gotten to see it in person. Anyway...I'm going to look for some work by Rene Magrite. He sounds interesting...

well, my project is on MODERN painters. people in the last 140 years. the ninja turtles (michelangelo and leonardo) were before that. WAY before i think. i can do van gogh, but i think me and my friend are doing a girl named georgia o'keefe. i don't know anything about her.
