Oh right running like Sophie said It's scientifically impossible to be unhappy because it releases endorphins that MAKE you happy Same, except swimming. Any sort of vigorous activity, really (besides running ew). If I start out sad, then I usually start to get really pissed off, which only makes me put more energy into it and then I get less angry and then eventually happy/exhausted. It helps to listen to really angry music, too. I also like listening to/making music (guitar or piano always cheer me up), being around people I love, hugs, journaling (I'll often just do this in a word doc then delete it), taking a hot shower, doing things to make other people happy (making other people happy makes me happy in return). Also, sometimes I just try to accept the sadness. Once I accept it as an emotion I'm experiencing and let myself be in that state for a while, I can then try to identify ways that I could attempt to bring myself out of it, such as intentionally trying to connect with specific people or plan a gathering with good friends. It sounds weird and kindof like the same thing as just thinking of things that make you feel better, but it's not. I don't know. But sometimes if I try not view it as something as not inherently bad and as something that it's okay to feel, then it makes it easier to transition into a different emotion. Let me know if this makes any sense at all.

Walking, listening to sadish music (not happy, but not too sad either), cooking or baking, vacuuming, showering, writing, watching videos of Handler's author events.

Try something other than running. There are aerobic activities that are less strenuous. Like weight training or yoga. Or even just a stretching routine.
Also, suicide jokes in thread full of people who have just openly shared their struggles with depression, and in some instances self harming, isn't appropriate. Nor are they in any other situation either, really.

I don't know about yoga and stretching stuff or whatever. Whenever i do anything generally exercise-wise i just feel horrible and fat and ugly and then i just feel worse.
Hey, I'm cool with those jokes guys!

Mister M. If that last post of yours (which I deleted) was a joke then you seriously need help.
If it wasn't a joke, then seriously, you need help. Hopefully you have family or someone to talk to nearby. If not then help lines exist with people trained to deal with this.

When I feel sad I like to mope about my life. And then just kind of think about how other people have got it worse, and how I'm pretty well off, and how it'll be over soon enough. One time when I was feeling super sad, I listened to one album for a day and now certain Presets songs make me well up, and bring up bad emotions.
When I'm angry, I like to plot. Or think of smashing people's heads in (But I never really would do that). Slamming doors is also helpful.
Generally getting onto 667 makes me feel really happy. Or meeting old friends. Or reading a book by my Derek Landy.
When I'm just generally down, I write some terrible bit of writing, and then save it away to be stored. Also, I think walking is helpful when I'm feeling really anxious. I can spend the time clearing my head and thinking of resolutions.
