But why? There is already a completely fine thread here to use. Either way, I would get backlash, "make a new thread!" or "there's already a thread for this!" There is actually a rule against bumping, so you wouldn't get backlash for making a new thread. Posting in old threads is often confusing, because people often don't notice that the thread is old, and try to continue conversations from several years ago, as if the person who started them was still waiting for an answer. This doesn't apply to threads like 'Odd ASOUE Real-Life Coincidence Thread' or '667 dreams', which are permanent threads for reporting events of some kind. |
