My best friend is an ISTJ.
I've never met another INTP, although it seems to be mostly science/math oriented people. So it makes sense I haven't met any because I'm not involved in that crowd at all.

I had an English instructor in uni who is an INFP (like me!) and her partner is an INTP.
My SO is an ENFP, as was one of my college suitemates and as is one of my cousins. One of my closest friends on Tumblr is an INFJ and she is a social worker.

I think Mister M is ISTJ like me.
How do you all know what other people are? I mean have those people actually done a test and told you their result, or do you just guess that yourself?
I guess my sister is ENFP and my mum INFP, and I don't think there are other people I could really guess.

When I was in 7th grade we all had to take the test at school. I took an online version when this thread was made and got the same result as back then.

INTP
Although I think I'm between that or INFP when reading about their characteristics. I read this test isn't as accurate as its makers thought it was.
EDIT: Also I can't do math for salsa

I had a bunch of friends take the test a little while back so I'd have some data to play with. I used the test at a website called 16 Personalities. The test is altered from the original MBTi, but the site has neat graphics, which totally makes up for lack of scientific accuracy. I also made a chart beforehand with my guesses about what they'd be. I have collected the profiles of 15 subjects. In three cases, one being myself, I knew the profile beforehand. In three cases, I predicted all four correctly. In three cases, I predicted 3/4 correctly. In four cases, I predicted 2/4 correctly. There were no cases where I predicted only one attribute correctly, but there was one subject whose profile turned out completely opposite of what I'd predicted. My predictions have held true about: -The I/E attribute in 10/12 subjects -The S/N attribute in 8/12 subjects -The F/T attribute in 11/12 subjects -The J/P attribute in 7/12 subjects (I naturally didn't try to predict the results of the three subjects whose profiles I already knew, hence the total of 12 rather than 15) 0 of my 15 subjects were: ISTP, ISFP, INTJ, INTP, ESTP, ESFP, ESTJ, ENFJ, ENTJ 1 of my 15 subjects were: ISTJ, ISFJ, ENTP 2 of my 15 subjects were: INFJ 3 of my 15 subjects were: ENFP, ESFJ 4 of my 15 subjects were: INFP I'm still not decided about how accurate I feel the test is, but I know I find it interesting, and the numbers are fun to play with.

This is interesting, my sister showed me the same website a few weeks ago and I did the test in German, and now I just did it again in English. The result is ISTJ in both, but the percentages are up to 20% different (except for the I, where I got 100% both times). I guess it's the wording of the questions, I remembered some of them and found them slightly different.
