When I'm on the toilet sometimes I come up with sitcom ideas, here are some:
The Burgs (working title) - After 100 years frozen in an ice burg, the last airbender Burg family is unfrozen and are trying to fit in.
Why it doesn't work: Too similar to other stuff, including Kimmy Schmidt, that one South Park episode, etc.
Untitled (working title) - A mockumentary following the leader of a group of children in a Mad Max style wasteland.
NOTES: Probably animated, most likely the one I would make.
Why it doesn't work: If I were to create this as a YouTube series or something, or even to pitch it to a network, filming in a wastelandy type place is too costy and will most likely be animated.

filming in a wastelandy type place is too costy and will most likely be animated. Filming in the desert is actually a cheaper/free alternative to getting permits to film in some places in a city. But of course it depends whether you live nearby or far away from a desert. I'd consider it, since animation isn't exactly cheap/time effective either. But I'm confused, are these just your thoughts on the can or would you intend to get these made for real? |
