it was like reddit in that it was terrible, but it didn't really effect a person's standing on the site or anything.
there was a little thing under your profile picture that said for example "Karma: -69"
and then other people would have an option to [exalt] or [smite] that person once an hour.

I don't miss it. It's not necessarily bad if you can express a negative opinion somehow, but I don't like it if it's an opinion about a person (e.g. disliking posts would be okay) and if it's anonymous.
