BS just opened up to the world the idea of doing more Snicket TV shows, basically. Yes. Gimme dat Wrong Questions show.

The new trailer on Netflix is brilliant! A tiny clip that has to be from The Marvelous Marriage and we finally see Sunny making noises (with subtitles)! Also love the relentlessly upbeat music. And now to watch it again ...

PS--
"With Handler writing the scripts – and supervising the screenplays for the second season, should Netflix decide to renew the series – the author hasn’t been afraid to shake things up, adding in an “intriguing subplot” about the Baudelaire parents, says Sonnenfeld."
Fun little tidbit. I'm even more certain they're moving the Snicket file stuff up.

This bit from the BS interview "The script is sharp and funny thanks to Handler and the team of writers, but Sonnenfeld says that some of the funniest lines came from Harris improvising. He mentions a specific line that Olaf has in Episode 2 about an hourglass that he bought online." confirms that the line so many people were unhappy with was, indeed, impovised. It's ironic how proud the director seems of the line, considering how much it pissed off some of the fans. Let Sonnenfeld be proud of that line; it was funny and anybody pissed off by it can go eat a shoe. Anachronisms are a part of the series.

We fans detected that the Olafs "bought online" line didn't tonaly feel right. As part of an early impression it made me wonder. Knowing that it's Improv allows me to accept it.

I wonder if it being in the trailer also affects people's reception of the line. Barry's thinking of it as it is in the series, which we haven't seen, while we've seen it in a trailer with quirky music and comedic pauses that might induce a little bit of cringe regardless of the line.

I'm on my phone so I can't take a screenshot at the moment, but in the new Netflix teaser, it looks like Orwell's hypnosis/mind control device (if that's what it is) is being used on Charles at one point. I wonder if this will tie into the climax of MM and if we'll see how he winds up subdued and strapped to the log.
