Sign ups are now underway for 667 Big Brother! For those unaware, every year during the northern hemisphere's summer, 667 hosts an online competition based loosely on the reality-tv show Big Brother. The competition this year will run from June 9th to August 9th. If you are interested in becoming a housemate, sign-ups are a little different this year. We are also advertising on other platforms like Facebook, tumblr, twitter, and reddit, so we'll likely be getting housemates who are not forum members. For example, our first confirmed housemate goes by the name "Him" and may or may not be a 667er

I couldn't possibly, I have my exams and several friends to spend time with during the summer. Or maybe I have neither of those things, and this is just a clever excuse to keep my identity a secret...?

This sounds so delightfully sinister that I feel Esmé's meme is meh may have just suggested I sign up to be ceremonially and figuratively killed. As appealing as that sounds, and as grateful as I am for the suggestion, I'm afraid I'll have about a week and a half without internet in late June so I think it would be unfair of me to sign up and then vanish half way through. Maybe next year ... But I'll definitely be happy to be a spectator. |

From a two-time participant (one and a half?), this is a lot of fun, people who are new to this! I can't afford as big of a thing to be daily available to, though, so I'm out, unfortunately.
