I read 31 so far, hoping to maybe get that to 33/34 when I'm off work for a few weeks from Thursday and go back up to deepest darkest northern Scotland for xmas.
My goal was to read 50 but I guess I fell short this year.
The authors I most frequently read were Mona Awad, Ottessa Moshfegh, and Haruki Murakami

about 100. over the summer i reread all of Joyce and finished Finnegans Wake for the first time, which was great fun. over the last month i have been working through the Complete Poetical Works of Robert Browning (probably about 30% of it is a reread). other than that i have been all over the place.
are you on goodreads Bauble ?

Nice that's impressive. What was your favourite? Do you read for your studies or just for fun? I don't use goodreads, but I have storygraph if you use it?

i am always rereading some of my all-time favorites, but the most pleasant surprise as a first-time read this year was Songs of Childhood by Walter de la Mare. i also first read John Clare this year, who i now think of as one of the greatest nature poets.
i guess i read as much as anyone else for school, but most things are personal choices. and they are often fun, but they are also of interest because of my ~~Vocation.~~
i think i looked at storygraph once and it seemed very heavily focused on algorithm-recommendations for fiction... i don't need recommendations and i don't read much fiction, i just like to see what my acquaintances are reading.

That's fair, I've actually not used storygraph for recommendations, I just really like their stats and charts and analyses of things I've read. Does goodreads have similar?

my goal is 27 and im on 24 and 7 halves ... i've mostly reread YA books but in my second language bc nostalgia + hard to follow words = slightly more bearable
i didn't mark any art books i knicked from the gallery, only novels. i only started properly using goodreads in about april or so this year, if i increase my goal magee i'll be marking every university paper, picture book, and art folio i find...

Maybe 5? How do you all have time to read so many? Honestly it's a lot of travel/time on public transport that did it for me this year
