I am finally posting all these! I can't see the TEE menu at the moment so I don't know what the exact words are, but I can hopefully recognise the food in the pictures
Salad
This salad included lettuce, tomato, cucumber, chickpeas, mango and a spicy red pesto dressing. It was a nice salad. 10/13
Poached egg on toast
with smashed avocado and hot sauce. The poaching went surprisingly well and the yolk was nice and runny. 11/13
Salmon pie with salmon ice cream
I was lazy and used shop bought puff pastry for the pie and filled it with a salmon and broccoli filling. For the ice cream I mixed some creme fraiche, smoked salmon cut into tiny pieces, a bit of lemon zest and salt and pepper, put it in the freezer and took it out to give it a stir every half an hour like I have nothing better to do with my time. I really liked the ice cream, it was very refreshing and went really well with the edges of the pie where it's just pastry and mostly tastes like nothing. 12/13
Aquaeous martini
This is a tiny glass, not a massive olive. I rinsed the olive so there wasn't any liquid from the jar left on it, so the water just tasted like water and the olive like olive. I love olives but I don't think this was something I had to experience. 5/13
Crackers, grapes, apple butter and water
I had never heard of apple butter before, it's really nice. I also decided to make the crackers myself, because if I have to stand in the kitchen supervising the apples boiling for an hour I might as well do something useful. I made some with seeds and some without and some with herbs and sea salt (not in the picture because they wouldn't have gone with the apple butter). I also liked the grapes, I hardly ever choose to buy them but whenever I have them I am pleasantly surprised. Water is just water. 11/13
Salmon puffs
I used some of the puff pastry left over from the pie and filled it with smoked salmon and a bit of yoghurt because I forgot to buy cream cheese. 11/13, yes I'm still not fed up with salmon.
I didn't do the water with chunks of frozen salmon, but I did specifically freeze some chunks of salmon (cooked of course), so I will probably still do it. I also didn't do parsley soda because I have no idea how that is supposed to work, I guess I have found the limit of my creativity.
