Yes, people can change, but you only get one chance to make a first impression. Lemony Snicket himself told us that first impressions are quite often wrong Yeah, but who cares about him? He writes children books. This forum is serious adult business! And the thing is that ADR continues to make bad impressions.

And the thing is that ADR continues to make bad impressions. But Snicket is right. You can't judge people on first impressions. But many people don't know this.

I know. I was joking. My point was that ADR has made a number of mistakes, in my opinion, and there's only so much she does that we can attribute to "first impressions".

It's not just our great Guru (Snicket) who says so. It's a simple fact which is seen and experienced everywhere, all the time. First impressions are rarely correct, and if someone continually makes bad impressions, it means that there's at least something negative, right?
Note: I don't want to get involved in any feud or anything between people I don't even know the names of. I would like to make it clear that I think Tragedy is one of the best administrators that ever walked the face of this Internet, and I sincerely hope he won't allow the minority of people who think badly of him to have any kind of negative impact on him in any way.
I hope nobody thinks of me as impertinent and talking too highly for a 14-year-old.

I don't think anyone's negative thoughts about Tragedy have ever affected him.

That's great, because that's exactly the kind of attitude we like in an excellent administrator such as Tragedy.

This is the old ADR DDeputie thread from last year. This issue has long since been resolved. Not to worry, ADR is gone, and the forum isn't shutting down.

It's amazing what old threads can turn into when bumped...
