Not Sue Thomas or Mary Russell, although those are names of characters I enjoy, Wow. You read the books by Laurie R King? And I'm Shelly/Michelle, either is fine. Yes, I love them. I've read all of the Russell books. Oh, and I may be changing my thingy to Eliza Doolittle for a bit. But I'm NOT Eliza. I'm Dismay and/or Owl. I'm Owl on two other forums.

People have called me: "Hey girl!" "Freshie Fresh!" "Melissa!" "Lissa!" "[swear word]!"
You may call me either Freshie, Melissa, or Lissa (If you think you're awesome enough and know me enough).

I go by Samreen/whatever variation of that, and Sarah. I've been called Sars before, which I really don't mind. Then C. started calling me 'rah, which just sounds horrible, bleh. And I guess I kinda go by Shak-ka. But only people from school call me that, I'm not really liking that one. And then they're the group of people that just call me by last name all of the time.
Just stick with one of the first three.

Wait, your name is Sarah? Mine too! But I am never, EVER Sarah 1 or 2 or other number or *shudders* squared. I've only gone by Sarah and Sarah-(my middle name) in school.

Wait, your name is Sarah? Mine too! But I am never, EVER Sarah 1 or 2 or other number or *shudders* squared. Hey, I used to know three Jakes and they did stuff like that to their names. The biggest one was Jake squared, and the other two had clever nicknames made out of their last names. I'm Megan, and prefer Megan H. if there are multiple Megans around (which there almost always are). But call me Linda here; I've used the name for online purposes for years and have really grown to like the name.

Oh, shoot. I forgot Owlie. Yeah, I'm also allowed to be called Owlie.
And never, ever, go to a class in which three Sarahs sit next to each other. Never. It's horrible. There's a Sarah M. (me), another Sarah M., and a Sara W. And we can't do Sarah M_ _k for me (my last name can be broken down a bit), because the other Sarah M's name can be broken down the same way to Sarah M_ _k. *sighs*
