For more information pease check out Unfortunate Events Online in a few days for my take on the book and my lets call them...predictions on the whole story. If you guys recap i gave you tons of theorys=) look over them and there is a secret code in them. (POSSIBLY VFD?) Check out my article!

Its confessional time. I myself do not own the slippery slope and sadly my father is not an exec at harpers. (he owns a small diner near roanoke) I can not in any way say that anything i said is true because honestly i dont know. I was in an aol based chat and a person with an sn along the line of snicknetfan came in and proceeded to sho me pictures and tell me far fetched stuff that i thought was cool. (thus the posts) I have know clue if he actually read the book or if he was kidding. Although i am not sure if the statements are true, i think they are cool and hope that they do prove to be true after all. I am still going to write my thesis and include some more guesses snicknetfan shared with me. Id like to think that it was fun while it lasted though

The person sounded very discriptive and accurate...im still not sure if he was lying tho.. he typed the first two pages and gave me weird facts. some of them sounded cool... what do you think?

they prolly head 2 the graveyard in the mountains by vfd hq, 2 see who is dead (or not dead, but faking) just a guess

maybe the hq is underwater, or important survivors, it could be in a submarine.... but some important place is underwater, cause in books j and l mention being under 40 foot or whatever of water

Excellent thinking! The Volunteer Fire Deptartments last safe place is at a hotel. Quig and The Bauds get seperated and there is no graveyard of the Mortmain Mountains. Great guesses though!

Check out your local Walmart. I just purchased the Slippery Slope yesterday. I was very suprised and excited to see it on the shelf early.

I got the book yesterday!!! my local book store let it out early!! if anyone would like to know sum spoilers like the survivor of a fire!!! which is not lemony snicket by the way but a younger person. remember the charater is not involved with the main fire/!!!!! also if anyone wants to know wat the slippery slope is its a frozen waterfall
