uhhhh i think 13 is the viscious victory it was discussed in a thread a few months ago... and i think it is definitely not the damaged submarine- its not an alliteration, and it doesn't sound good. it might be the grim gameroom

I believe the 11th book will be called The Grim Grotto. A cursive o can look like an a. Also, a grotto is a kind of underwater thing that lest out into a partially underwater cave.
I'm just a wanderer and thougth I'd help.

I can not read cursive well so I am using my Dad's super cool magnifying glass he gave me, and my amazing researchign skills! Lol! Here it goes! To My Kind Editor, I apologize for the watery quality of this letter, but I'm afraid the ink I am using has become diluted, a word which here means "Soaked with salt water from the ocean and from the author's own tears." It is difficult to conduct my investigation on the damaged submarine where the Baudelairs lived during this episodeof their lives, and I can only hope that the rest of this letter will not wash away. The Grim Gr? ??M Look closely at the last word.. it is Gr -soemthing- then you can see a M or what appears ot be a Capital m... but in Cursive... N has 2 humps and M has 3 so it might end in an N... The Grim Grasatan(m) is that even a word??? I am just guessing....

What I found odd about the end of the note was that Lemony didn't mention a manuscript and title, he just hoped that the rest of the letter would not wash away and then wrote the name of the next book. Weird.

Maybe Lemony wrote another page which washed away completely detailing the book...

Did anyone find it weird that he said that the Bauselaires LIVED in a subnerine. They were in teh mountains but you can hardley say they lived there. So I'm thinking they must live in the subnerine, as appose to just going there.

Anyway, book 13 will NOT be the Vicious Victory, because we've already had V. (Vile Village)

Who said that there cou;dn't be two books with the same initials. I think maybe, the letter of each book wil, sepll somthing out. B,R,W,M,E,V,H,C,S,G,?,? But I don't think there are enough vowels.

There's nothing, of course, that would keep Lemony from re-using a letter of the alphabet to name the final books. It simply seems the sort of thing that ought not to happen.

If you have read the book, how can you think it is the grim gameroom? It is definitely Grim Gr- something. GAMEROOM DOES NOTSTART WITH GR!!

The letters of the books.. I had thought of... A WHILLLE AGO! But, he would need one or two more vowels.... The Fersome(sp?) Finale? For #13? Just guessing... I think it will have Finale in it...

Hmmm. What about ...
The Deadly Denouement The Odious Outcome The Unexplainable Upshot
All fail a test that someone (was it Queen Swan? my apologies for the memory lapse) suggested - all of the first ten titles mention the location or a significant feature of the location. So these are more like the titles Lemony has used:
The Dank Dungeon The Odious Observatory The Perilous Playground The Terminal Terminal
