I was reading TCC today, and this is what I found. You may want to have your books to look.

On the Chapter 7 title page, page 147, there is the smashed crystal ball and a couple pages from the archival library. Two pictures caught my eye. TDP article has a headline that reads "Snic". We can safely assume that that is "Snicket". The picture on the DP article has a man with a blacked out face, wearing a hat. As soon as I saw it i thought of the hat the Hook handed Man wears. Another picture, near the map, has another man, in the mountains, wearing a hat resembling the HHM's hat. I think the man in the photos are Lemony, although they just as easily could be Jacques.

Helquist doesn't only do pics for the series, I'm sure. It's probably just something he did for fun or for something else.

It's the same hat as the Hook Handed Man.
